Emika Embrack DPT, CEO and lead Physical Therapist – received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Alabama State University and has ten years of experience providing several dimensions of physical therapy to clients in an outpatient setting to include neuromuscular and orthopedic therapy services. He received his Masters of Physical Therapy from Howard University. He is listed as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland and in the District of Columbia. Dr. Embrack has acquired many certificates and training in manual therapy using a Maitland Manual Approach and neuromuscular manual therapy specializing in NDT and PNF techniques in addition to training in work hardening for employee related work injuries. These certifications can attest to Dr. Embrack’s hands-on approach and his level of competency as a physical therapist.

The initial years of Dr. Embrack’s career began in an orthopedic and neuromuscular setting, treating high to low level patients, from high school athletes to geriatric patients. He continued the next several years with Greater Metropolitan Orthopedics, one of the premier orthopedic care practices in the Washington Metropolitan area. Working closely with orthopedic surgeons at this facility he provided outstanding care to patients with all types of musculoskeletal injuries, achieving maximum results. Later on in his career he moved into management where he worked at an outpatient private physical therapy practice as the Managing Clinician in Largo, MD. There he achieved maximum productivity providing quality care through effective work teams. At interim times in his career he has worked as an independent contractor with Kaiser Permanente and several home health agencies specializing in neuromuscular patients. His success as manager combined with direct practice has been attributed to excellent work experience, his ability to organize and engage people in the work place building good working relationships, oversight of budget and financial planning and input in the strategic organizational marketing. Throughout his years of practice, he has always utilized his clinical expertise to identify and implement the most appropriate evidenced based approach when treating patients to ensure the best clinical outcomes. Dr. Embrack’s experience in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area has allowed him to obtain key knowledge of the District’s health care market and needs. As a result, Dr. Embrack has identified a niche for a physical therapy practice focusing on quality patient care that sets itself apart from standard therapy practices.
